Netscape 6

It has been some years since Netscape was the dominating Web browser, and we have all been waiting (too long?) for the version 6 release from Netscape.

With version 6, Netscape hopes to eat back some of the 80% Internet Explorer domination.

Version 6 provides powerful support for CSS and XML.

The Netscape Problem

Netscape's 4.x series of browsers have a poor support for CSS and no support for XML.

Our Browsers Statistics are showing that Netscape is losing the browser war.

Older versions

Note: If you are using an older version of Netscape than 4.05, you should upgrade to ensure secure on-line transactions, such as shopping. Read more.
